Room was nice enough. It seems they are trying to update them. Bathroom door would not lock which was a minor inconvenience. Seems hard to find anywhere with decent air conditioning and our room was no different. It was warm during the day and it was cooler outside at night than in the room. However, the staff is very nice and allowed us a slightly later check out due to having a tour at the Vatican. They also had a nice selection at breakfast and plenty of coffee selections. We chose this hotel due to its closeness to Rome Termini. We were also able to walk to all of the attractions inside Rome. Most everything was less than 2 kilometers. The hotel also offered great recommendations for local restaurants outside of the tourist area.

Hotel is very convenient and close to historic sights such us the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum and the Spanish Steps. It's easily accessible to the Roma Termini station. The room we were given was half refurbished room but it was still dated. The hotel itself needs a full refurbishment. On the positive, breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful, the cleaners cleaned the room daily (with fresh linen and toiletries being provided), maintenance staff were very prompt when needed, reception staff were average (you don't get much help from them). Also, there's no luggage help. From the lifts, you have to walk two flights of stairs with your luggage. Overall, it was an okay hotel.

Very old hotel. Wifi was intermittent. Unable to watch tv as signal was weak or non existent-was told that the technician would fix it that day but 24hrs later it still was not fixed. The air conditioner was in the wall below the window and behind a curtain, so it was blowing cool air straight onto the window and not the rest of the room. The shower was tiny. My 65kg hubby just got inside- I couldn’t even get a leg in. The towels were on a rack over 2m high- impossible to reach for a short person. Very noisy- could hear noise coming from next door and the hallway. Don’t waste your money. Go elsewhere

Good sized rooms for a family of three people. Great placed in walking distance of major sights and good restaurants. A bit dated and in need of some maintenance. What the hotel cannot be held responsible for, is guests smashing holes in walls and drawing in paintings. I bet most of the complaints written here, were not addressed with the hotel staff. The staff was nice and friendly, and very quick to take care of both the issues we had. All in all, good experience on a good base for exploring Rome on a budget. Ok free breakfast as well.

Good location. Room very basic and dated. Needs complete upgrade. Just one curtain across window with no voile curtain for privacy. Padded headboard dirty. Bathroom in poor condition. Room was tiny but this is common in major cities. Staff at breakfast were very helpful.
